Project Title:  

1. Oversee and develop the Community Engagement and Empowerment Element
2. Support the development of the Promotional Programs Element
3. Develop and implement strategies to promote health center usage

Project Update:

I have spent the last three weeks becoming familiar with the organization of Community Health Workers (CHWs).  I am taking over the Community Engagement and Empowerment Element of the CCHIPs project, so the past few weeks our Director Jeanne D’arc was transitioning the position to me.  I have met with both Shingiro and Kabere Health Centre’s CHWs Representatives to learn more about CHWs responsibilities, meetings, reporting, etc.  I have worked with Kabere’s CHWs Representative to plan the next quarterly training of CHWs.  I will continue to work with CHWs Health Centre Representatives to improve CHWs management and create a CHWs follow up system.

Other Projects: I am also working with Elie to develop and implement strategies to increase subscription to Mutuelle.
