Radio Interview with Ro Wyman & Dr. Brian Lombardo MD
Thursday, April 15, 2010 at 5:47PM The Rwandan genocide in 1994 inspired Ro Wyman’s motivation to help the people of Rwanda. Her work in Rwanda began with the development of a grassroots primary healthcare pilot project for rural Rwandan health centres in the village of Bisate in the Northern Province of Rwanda. The project was launched in September 2006 with the Ministry of Health through collaboration with the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International and continues today in collaboration with the Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project. The CCHIPs project in 2010 will expand to include 5 of the 11 health centres in the regional district where the project began.
