Dead Aid: Why Aid Is Not Working and How There Is a Better Way for Africa

This is a call to the living,
To those who refuse to make peace with evil,
With the suffering and the waste of the world.
This is a call to the human, not the perfect,
To those who know their own prejudices
Who have no intention of becoming prisoners of their own limitations.
This is a call to those who remember the dreams of their youth,
who know what it means to share foot and shelter
The care of children and those who are troubled,
To reach beyond barriers of the past bringing people to communion.

This is a call to the never ending spirit of the common man,
His essential decency and integrity,
His unending capacity to suffer and endure,
To face death and destruction and to rise again
And build from the ruins of life.
This is the greatest call of all
The call to a faith in people.

Congratulations to Ro Wyman and CCHIPs for receiving

Make a Donation

Wyman Worldwide Health Partners Inc. is a not-for-profit 501c(3) organization founded in 2004 by Ro and Bill Wyman. 100% of all donations go directly to the CCHIPs project in Rwanda. The mission of CCHIPs is to help Rwanda develop the delivery system for primary healthcare services in rural areas through the creation and implementation of a comprehensive, self-sustaining, cost-effective and replicable model for improving health centers.

A donation to WWHPS will guarantee that your money is cost-effectively spent:

1. 100% of project funds are spent in Rwanda. Even for office supplies, we have an internal rule to buy in Rwanda whenever possible -- all project funds help grow the Rwandan economy.

2. We strive to spend all our funds as cost-effectively as possible. As a team, we are always looking for ways to cut costs or spend funds more effectively.

3. We ensure that our funds make a lasting impact: instead of just providing health centers with supplies, we work with health center accountants to budget for needed supplies so that they might be able to afford future purchases themselves, we train nurses on how to use the equipment properly so it is effective, and we train health center staff on how to maintain the equipment so it will last longer.

By making a donation to WWHPS, you are helping to improve the health of the Rwandan population, even years after your donation is made.
